Yves Watier
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Yves Watier, on December 12, at the age of 70, at the Institut de cardiologie de Québec.
Yves courageously fought a battle of more than three years, originally brought on by myositis.
Originally from Sherbrooke, Yves Watier was born on June 15, 1954.
Son of the late Pauline Chartier and the late Henri Watier, he was the second of three children.
He is survived by his partner, Christine Leblanc; his children, Karl (Michelle St-Cyr) and Sophie; his brothers, Alain (Andrée Néron) and Rock (Lucie Hébert); his grandson, Arthur; as well as his nephews and nieces, Jean-François (Fanie Provost) and their sons (Olivier and Raphaël), and Kristelle (Marc-André Dupuis) and their daughter (Alice).
All will keep his memory forever alive in their hearts.
