Gisèle Lemay
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gisèle Lemay, wife of Jean Manzi, on May 23, 2026, at the palliative care unit of the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).
Gisèle is survived by her husband, Jean Manzi, her daughter, Anie (Louis), her son, François (Renée), as well as her beloved grandchildren: Mélanie (Pierre-Hugues), Frédéric, Sandrine (Charles-Antoine), Chloé (Charles-Étienne), William, and Jérémy.
She also leaves to mourn her brothers, Pierre and Jacques (Florence), her sister-in-law Annie, her nephews and nieces, Simon, Marie-Pier, and Mathieu, as well as many friends who will remember her as a strong, generous woman who was always there for the people she loved.
An entrepreneur at heart, Gisèle touched the lives of many through her energy and determination.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 (see below for full details).
The family will receive condolences from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A short ceremony will take place at 6:00 PM.
