Iskandar Raymond Tabbah

Iskandar Raymond Tabbah, affectionately known as Alex, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Montreal after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 25, 1951, in Alexandria, Egypt, Alex lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda Rosa Rosa; his stepsons Rodney and Xoel Sánchez Rosa; his brother Naghib Tabbah (Zahia Ladicani); his niece Laila Tabbah (Rami Issa); and his nephew Youssef Tabbah, as well as other family members and many friends.

Throughout his life, Alex touched the hearts of many through his warmth, kindness, and above all, his generosity. The strength and resilience he demonstrated in his fight against cancer are a testament to his character. Alex’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Saint-Sauveur Cathedral (see details below).
